Cartoon Brew festival includes Bruce Bickford work

Check out the trailer for ‘Animation Breakdown‘, a 6 day festival co-presented by the animation site Cartoon Brew and screening in LA. The line up includes shorts by Don Hertzfeldt, the Quay Brothers, the excellent The Eagleman Stag that played at SIFF last year, and a full program of Seattle master Bruce Bickford‘s shorts as well as his recently completed 40 minute clay animation Cas’l. Bruce will also be attending in person this weekend, and I have it on good authority that some of his framed drawings will also be on display.
